Drawing Monsters
Just picked up what looks like an insanely fun commision. I’ll be working on a few monsters for an upcoming warhammer supplement.
Past the fact that the illustrations themselves are going to be fun, I’m also really excited about working for Fantasy Flight, the folks who are commisioning the pieces. They also do the Game of Thrones card games, Call of Cthulhu stuff, and a number...

Approval
Hal said he thought the illustration was great and he just needs to run it by a some other people and it’ll be approved. I’m having a lot of fun with these and want to continue to work on the line so I’m glad he liked it. Now I’ve just got to get the rest of the pictures in on time. I’m surprising myself with how fast I’m working…three days for a piece.

Gencon
So I’m back from gencon and I’ve had a day to decompress.
What a surreally awesome couple of days. I got a slew of commisions from a bunch of companies that I’ve wanted to work with for years, a jurors choice award from one of the art directors for wotc, and met a bunch of other illustrators who I’ve got tons of respect for.
