So I’m back from gencon and I’ve had a day to decompress.
What a surreally awesome couple of days. I got a slew of commisions from a bunch of companies that I’ve wanted to work with for years, a jurors choice award from one of the art directors for wotc, and met a bunch of other illustrators who I’ve got tons of respect for.
I’m really glad I waited as long as I did before I went out with my portfolio. This was the first year I was ready.
I’m getting started on a commision for Green Ronin; a song of ice and fire. Looking forward to get started on it.
I’ll post up the finished steampunk wings chick here sometime tonight, and I’ll be putting up the sketches for soiaf as I do ‘em
Also, totally excited that there’s an iPhone app for Tumblr!
