Just picked up what looks like an insanely fun commision. I’ll be working on a few monsters for an upcoming warhammer supplement.
Past the fact that the illustrations themselves are going to be fun, I’m also really excited about working for Fantasy Flight, the folks who are commisioning the pieces. They also do the Game of Thrones card games, Call of Cthulhu stuff, and a number of other product lines I’d be really excited to work on.
I was a little nervous this wasn’t going to go through because there was a week between the time they contacted me and when I actually got the contract and illo descriptions, but I also wasn’t sure what a normal wait time for something like that would be.
So tonight I’m gathering reference and doing sketches.
